Aika Tenkuubashi is the female protagonist of the series.

Appearance: Aika is a young girl with a petite frame, with a mixture of the colors orange, peach and blonde as her hair color. Her hair is short and straight, only reaching down to her shoulders, which is usually seen being tied into twin-tails, with red ribbons on each side, and she has big light brown eyes. Aika is usually seen with her school uniform; which consists of a white dress with a brown collar, that has a ribbon on it, that matches with Aika's haircolor, white stockings and brown shoes.

Personality: Aika is childish, naïve, and shy about talking to others. This distances her from them even though she wishes to be popular among her peers. Aika is strongly fascinated of the outside world; things like the PSP, ramen, and manga are but a few of her interests. Aika is also very air headed and cheerful. When she first met Kimito, she wasn't shy at all and was willing to kiss him so her wish would be granted. Her wish was to become one of the popular persons in the school, like Reiko. According to Kimito, she is very pure, to an unbelievable degree. She easily believes idiotic lies and yet cannot tell lies herself, and she is afraid of being hated or feeling a bad vibe. Aika is practically incapable of telling lies, and often says what is on her mind, regardless of how others might react. For this reason she has distanced herself from her classmates. She is also very gullible, causing her to be easily tricked by the mischievous Kimito. Aika also has a tsundere-like personality, getting embarrassed and blushing very easily. She hides her true feelings for Kimito, but never admits it, although her feelings are very obvious, and because of this, she can get quite mad when she is wrong or when it comes to romance. But inside, she has a soft and cute personality.
