A transfer student, as well as a part-time worker, and the son of Aya Katsuragi and the latter’s ex-husband, Kenji Kyobate. Despite having no past experience in soft tennis, he joins the Shijo Minami Junior High boys’ soft tennis club and is quickly discovered to have a natural talent for the sport. He plays as the front player with Toma Shinjo as his partner.
