A werebeast and Izuna's grandpa. He is protective of Izuna and dislikes it when she is close to Sora and Shiro. According to Miko, Hatsuse has thirty wives, much to Sora's chagrin.
Hatsuse acts in a formal manner, being friendly around guests and officials. However, if he's around rude or condescending people, he will usually reciproctate their attitudes back. Hatsuse also is very perverted, telling many dirty jokes while not on a job. He was also banished from his tribe due to having experiences with every woman in his tribe. As he has 30 wives, he wishes for polygamy to be legal in the Eastern Union; which is one reason why he works under Miko.
