Commander of Isumi's Valkyries C-Flight, from Kyoto. The third highest ranked in Special Task Force A-01, and a highly skilled pilot like Isumi. Misae is a woman shrouded in mystery, often will being aloof, elusive, and cracking outlandish jokes to tease and confuse others, making herself difficult to read. Though she's hides it well, those close to her know she's a closet romantic.

She is also Kazama Touko's best friend, with the two being so close that people often gossip that the two are dating. She tends to lean into the rumors, saying "As long as it feels good, anything is fine".

In Extra (Kimi ga Ita Kisetsu), Misae moved to Yokohama after a difficult home situation and began attending Hakuryo in her second year. In a place where she knew no one, Touko was the first to befriend her, and the two became close from there. It was here she'd meet Masaki through their connection to Michiru. After the two graduated from Hakuryo, Touko and Misae also became roommates.
