Miyano

Tanaka's classmate with short stature. She admires Tanaka for his listlessness. She constantly proclaims herself to be Tanaka's apprentice in listlessness, however he constantly decries her.

Miyano is an energetic girl who likes to make friends. She is Echizen's best friend and admires Tanaka's listlessness and persistently approaches him to become his apprentice. Eventually, she comes to self-proclaim herself as his apprentice and calls others to be his apprentice too.

She is immensely loyal to those who are close to her, shown when she helps Tanaka and Ohta with their landscape sketches, takes pictures so that her club president could practice his art skills, and yells at her own "Master" (Tanaka) for being an idiot when she thinks that he had a girlfriend and worries about Shiraishi's feelings for him.

Whilst looking oblivious to the eye, Miyano can catch on to situations quickly. This can be seen when she spots Shiraishi at the door staring at both her and Tanaka's conversation and later approaches Shiraishi in an oblivious manner which made it seem as if the latter wanted to become his apprentice too. After confirming the friendships of Shirashi and Tanaka, she sends a message to her saying that she will cheer on Shiraishi's pursuit in having a crush on Tanaka.
