She sacrificed her life by using the Silver Crystal to send the court of the Silver Millennium, including the spirits of her daughter, the Solar System Senshi, and her daughter's lover Prince Endymion, into the future to be reborn on Earth.
She described herself as being the incarnation of the Moon goddess Selene
