Rei Todoroki

The damaged mother of the Todoroki family. Rei has an ice related quirk, which is believed to be powerful, as Eiji would not have had kids with her otherwise.

In the past, Rei was very supportive towards Shouto and his dreams to become like All Might. She used to always say that his blood does not define him for him and for herself.

Rei, who was once a kind and caring woman, is now in a mental ward. After all the abuse she faced from Eiji, she began to become mentally unstable. Over time, she had slowly began to snap, until she finally poured boiling water onto Shouto's left side after seeing it. Immediately after burning Shouto, Rei began to apologize and attempt to comfort him when she realized what she had done. Due to her snapping, she was placed into a mental ward for her own safety.

Even though Rei is in a mental ward, she has since returned to her former self. When Shouto visited, she was immensely happy and apologized for what she had done to him. Fuyumi and Natsuo also visit her as well, though she has yet to meet Eiji face to face again out of fear.
