A laid-back and polite boy who enrolled into Ninjutsu Academy as a second year after being encouraged by father, who works at Kawataredoki Castle.
Originally a main character in the 2005 remake of Amako's 1996 work Hamuko Mairu!, he was later adopted into both the manga and anime versions of Rantarō. In the latter, he first made his appearance on January 5, 2021 in the episode Haniwa-kun Tōjo no Dan (ハニワくん登場の段).
