Takashi Watanabe is a producer, music director and magazine editor.

After working as an anime music director for the record label Tokuma Japan, he was the editor-in-chief of Tokuma Shoten's Gekkan Animage and Gazo magazines. Later, he transferred to Kadokawa Shoten and became the editor-in-chief of Gekkan Newtype.
