Akihiko always pursues the highly entertaining music and without doubt, he is one of the representative musicians of Japan.
His uncle was one of the famous Japanese sax players, and the winner of Order of the Sacred Treasure, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon, the late Hidehiko Matsumoto.
Since 87’, he has produced over 1,500 songs, with such million sales Japanese artists. He has produced a great many award winning works such as BMG “SILVER PRIZE”(1991), KING RECORDS “GOLDEN DIAMOND”(1994), MERCURY “GOLD DISK”(1997).
Akihiko has also supported the stages of those leading artists in Japan as a keyboard player.
He owns private studio in Tokyo called “STUIDIO LIGHTS” and most of his works have been produced from this studio.
