Hiroshi Shirai

Hiroshi Shirai is a Japanese CG artist, animator and director. He was formerly affiliated with Gonzo. After graduating from Digital Hollywood, he joined Gonzo's digital division and contributed in the CGI animation production for many of Gonzo's projects, those including Blue Submarine No. 6, Melty Lancer THE ANIMATION, Vandread and Yukikaze.
In 2009, when Gonzo sold its digital division to Q-tec. He along with 24 other former Gonzo employees became part of the newly established animation studio Graphinica and has remained there since.
Outside the anime industry, Shirai also worked on video games such as Nintendo's Xenoblade Chronicles series and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild under Graphinica.
