Masashi Ikeda is a director, screenwriter and storyboard artist.
Noted for directing Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, Vampire Hunter and the first 44 episodes of Inuyasha. He is a former member of an amateur anime production circle "Group Ebisen," together with Hiroyuki Kakudou, Kouji Yamamura, Keiko Fukuyama, Sunao Katabuchi, [Umanosuke Iida](Umanosuke Iida) and Takuya Ishida.
