Introduction:
Miyuna is a Japanese singer-songwriter affiliated with record label A.S.A.B (2019-), while having previously been under record label Here, play pop! since her debut in 2018.

Biography:
Miyuna became familiar with the rock, soul and pop genre from early childhood, which is particularily due to her parents playing western music during travels. Her parents would often listen to Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson, and as a result she became interested in soul and pop type music. She has also mentioned that her grandmother liked the artist Hibari Misora.

In elementary school Miyuna started listening to ONE OK ROCK and became interested in rock, specifically full-fledged rock. Continuing her descent into rock, in junior high school she started listening to the rock band coldrain, which bloomed an interest in more sub-genres of rock. She also seems to listen to various artists, regardless of genre - as an example she mentioned that she has listened to Kouji Tamaki, Toshinobu Kubota, Ringo Shiina, the band Petrolz (stylized as PETROLZ), Yu Takahashi, Nakamura Emi and VOCALOID-type stuff.

She initially found success with her first two singles, "Gamushara" and "Tenjou Tenge", which were used as the fifth opening and ending theme songs to the anime Black Clover. Her third single, "Boku to Kimi no Lullaby" was used as the twenty-fifth ending theme song to the anime Fairy Tail, or alternatively known as the third ending theme song to the 2018 season of Fairy Tail, and the fourth single, "Yurareru", was used as the theme song for the 2019 Japanese remake of the Korean film Blind. She continues to release demos for her songs on the independent Japanese music platform Eggs.
