Osamu Kobayashi was a Japanese director, animator, illustrator and designer, noted for having directed shows such as Beck, Paradise Kiss and Someday's Dreamers II. After graduating from high school, he worked as a mangaka and designer, but following his participation in the video game Grandia as a designer, he was mainly active in the field of animation.
Kobayashi passed away due to kidney cancer on April 17, 2021.
Brother of Makoto Kobayashi.
