Introduction:
Shiena Nishizawa, alternatively known by stage name EXiNA, is a Japanese vocalist, lyricist and composer. She debuted under record label flying DOG after winning the grand prize at the label's first audition, she is now under record label SACRA MUSIC (which is under Sony Music Entertainment).

Biography:
In junior high school, she became immersed in music when she received her father's guitar as a gift. She dreamed that one that she would sing in front of a large number of people as an artist, and in 2014 she won the grand prize at the "First flying DOG Audition". In 2015 she performed the ending theme song to the TV anime "Kantai Collection: Kancolle", which was also her debut as a musician.

Shiena announed a solo project on July 9, 2019, going from using her real name Shiena Nishizawa to adopting a new stage name EXiNA (which is an anagram of her given name Shiena = EXiNA). Her first release as EXiNA was a digital single released on July 10, 2019 titled 'EQ'. She went on to release a second digital single on August 3, 2019 titled 'KATANA', and then followed-up by releasing her third single on August 14, 2019 titled 'OVERTHINKING BOY'. Her first mini-album was released on August 21, 2019 titled 'XiX', which was also her first album-like release under her new stage name.
