Graduating from Osaka University of Arts, Suhara, who had a fondness for drawing, assisted in the production of independent animated works by his junior, Yuichi Terao, who currently serves as the chief of ufotable's digital imaging department. After completing his university studies, Suhara, drawn to his passion for drawing, learned about Terao joining ufotable and subsequently joined the company in the spring of 2006.
