Introduction:
Tomoya Tabuchi is a Japanese musician, lyricist, bassist, composer and arranger. He is in charge of the bass and chorus for the three-piece rock band UNISON SQUARE GARDEN, and for the rock band THE KEBABS, he also takes part in the Q-MHz music production team.

Biography:
Tomoya is the same age as the two other UNISON SQUARE GARDEN members, Kousuke Saito (斎藤宏介) who is also a high school and university classmate, and Suzuki Takao (鈴木貴雄) who is an elementary school classmate. In elementary school, he was obsessed with soccer, to the point that he'd become a "soccer boy". His future dream at the time, was to become a junior league soccer player. Band member Suzuki Takao participated in the same soccer club, as well. When he was in fifth grade of elementary school, he had to move from Funabashi City, Chiba to Setagaya-ku, Tokyo due to his father's work.

In later years he graduated from the Faculty of Political Science and Economics at Waseda University. His specialized field is finance theory.
