After her graduation from Tokyo University of Arts, she received the Afternoon Prize for Young Mangaka in 2014. She later made her debut in Good! Afternoon with two one shots ("Nude Model" and "Onna no Ko", both in 2015). In 2016, she published her first full series in Monthly Afternoon, a manga adaptation of "She and Her Cat". One year later she launched her second series, "Blue Period", in the same magazine.
She got married in 2019.
On november 2023 she annonced a hiatus because of her pregnancy.
