A voice actress and the bassist of Poppin'Party. When Rimi was in elementary school, she knew right away that she wanted to become a voice actor after seeing the anime "Mirmo de Pon!". On April 27, 2013, she auditioned for Futari wa Milky Holmes during the Milky Holmes Sisters Members Scout Audition but lost to Ayasa Itou, however she left a strong impression on Kidani Takaaki, the president of Bushiroad; when BanG Dream! was in its planning stage, Rimi was one of the first people Kidani wanted to cast into the project.

Prior to becoming a member of the BanG Dream! franchise, Rimi knew how to play piano, guitar, and bass, and although bass was the one she had least experience in, she started practicing playing it earnestly after becoming a member of Poppin'Party. Rimi Ushigome also ended up becoming her debut role in the voice acting industry.
