In the beginning of his career he was known for his sharp and clear Kanada-esque action scenes. After a while he abandoned his sharp style and shifted to a more realistic style that was more in line with Mitsuo Iso. At the time, the industry was filled to the brim with Iso followers, but according to Takashi Hashimoto; "The only people who wholly pursued Iso's style in animation were me, Mori, and Shuuichi Kaneko."
