He made his full directorial debut with the release of Honey and Clover II in 2006, after which he directed Idolmaster: Xenoglossia in 2007, and Toradora! in 2008. He has also directed the spin-off series of Toaru Majutsu no Index, respectively named Toaru Kagaku no Railgun, which released in 2009.
